Razor Electric Dirt Bike – The Different Machines
One popular ride on toy among youngsters is the Razor dirt bike. It is an item that can offer kids much excitement because it looks just like the real thing. Much smaller in size than an actual bike, a Razor dirt bike is fairly safe for youngsters to ride because it has speed limits as part of the design.. The bike needs to be charged overnight and once completed, it can offer you more than half an hour riding time.
Razor bike has distinctive designs to fit different groups of people such as height and competence level. All the models are designed for teens with the lowest end machine having a suggested minimum age of twelve for the rider. This machine, which is the Razor MX350, has a maximum weight limit of 140lbs and it can only reach up to 14 miles per hour with a 350-watt electrical motor. It is a dirt bike that is perfect for those who are younger with barely any riding knowledge since it is designed with a lower speed limit and smaller build.
At the other end of the scale is the Razor MX650 dirt bike. This Razor bike is much more impressive than the MX350 with a 650-watt motor. The speed limit for this bike is 17 miles per hour plus it can take riders weighing up to 220lbs. With a larger structure, it is supported by 16 and 14-inch pneumatic wheels for the front and back respectively in contrast to 12-inch tires for the lowest end model. Specifically for 16-year-olds and older, it is a model that is suitable for more skillful riders.
Apart from the above models, there are also two other intermediate bikes in between. These are the MX400 and MX500 models. The bikes will be more expensive as the might and speed increased with each different machine as you move up the scale. By and large, the MX400 is not as popular among buyers because the features are more or less the same as the MX350. They most likely just do not feel that that it is worth it to pay the higher price just to acquire a 50-watt difference in the motor.
Lastly, ensure that you buy the correct bike for your teen depending on his maturity and riding skills. There are risks of crashes with these bikes, particularly for a inexperienced rider, and that is the reason why you should be careful about which model to purchase. The most expensive bike is not necessarily the most appropriate bike for your teen, although you may well be able to afford it.
